Welcome to my first post on Publish0x!
I am a big nerd when it comes to personal finance and investing. I find the topics super interesting and I love to engage others' online regarding the subject. I already share most of my portfolio updates, purchases, and financial decisions online via social media, but I know not everyone enjoys consuming content on those mediums. Because of this, I will ALSO attempt to share my journey online with everyone here on Publish0x.
As we begin to dive in, I will make a note about what images you may be looking at. I use a few different financial platforms to keep track stocks and funds. I also use a few different platforms to purchase bonds, and even to earn cash back rewards. I'll be sharing all of these through our journey together that way you can see all the diversification that goes on within my portfolio.
M1 Finance
Some of you may not know what exactly you're looking at right now, but that is okay because I will try to explain everything as much as possible and answer all comments that are left here! Today I bought $10.01 worth of $CAT. This is the same as 0.068 shares of the company. You can also see that overall, my portfolio was up 0.06% today, with the leader being $IRM which was up 1.73% today.
Worthy Bonds

Worthy is a platform I use to purchase "bonds" that earn 5% annual interest. The idea behind these bonds is that they are loans given to small businesses. Worthy acts as the middle man for these small businesses to get funding. We, the investor, are their capital and because of this we are rewarded 5% interest from this investment. The interest on these bonds is calculated and credited daily into your account. Today I reached a total of 228 bonds within my account.
Bumped

The final platform I will be showing today is called Bumped. This is a service that is in the "credit card rewards" sector, so to speak. The idea behind Bumped is that you are being rewarded for your loyalty at certain vendors. You simply link your credit or debit card to Bumped via Plaid (a secure 3rd party financial tool) and it will monitor any transactions. When it notices you make a purchase at one of the vendors within the app, it will give you rewards in that certain companies stock. Say I make a $100 purchase at Target. I would get 1% "stock back" as a reward. This would mean I now have $1 worth of Target stock. It's a very nice way to earn stock passively and without a brokerage fee.
Summary
Thanks for joining me on my first post! I hope some of you will enjoy this type of content and will enjoying following along and asking questions throughout journey. We will see how well these posts do and if it is valuable for my audience to continue!
