Blockchain monitor Whale Alert research shows that Jed McCaleb, the co-founder of Ripple, sold more than 1 billion XRP from 2014 to 2019!!! They published that information on 6th February on theirs Medium post.

They also estimated that McCaleb has another 4.7 billion XRP left to sell which is around 5% of the total supply. At actual prices,  it is worth more than one billion USD! He sold another 19 million XRP, worth $5.4 million in January 2020.

McCaleb is a key figure in the history of cryptocurrencies, having created the famous exchange Mt Gox, co-founded of Stellar (XLM), and also co-founded OpenCoin in 2012, which later became Ripple
