How time flies... It has been four years without you, sir. Today makes it exactly 4 years since you passed away... Just few days to Christmas, you left us. I missed your voice... I missed your laughter... I missed your interest even in politics and the analysis you gave... Your love for nature is second to none. Your farm also missed your touch.

Still fresh in my memory, I still remember
Your words are deep and seasoned with tender
With every strength in you, every help you always want to render
Classy man, good taste, handsome and slender
But your death came as a shock, suddenly and with wonder
Everyone was hurt, even the cloud screamed with thunder
You speak politics with much knowledge and zero blunder
The bond between yourself and my dad, death couldn't put asunder
Now you are both given to mother earth and both of you lie under
I missed when you used to come around with a lot of goodies
Everyone, even my mum would jump on you with our bodies
You always touched my head just as a lady would touch her teddies
You smile heartily and honestly to make us know we are your lovelies
We miss you and no words could adequately describe this feelings
Never knew your light would go out so quickly
But many lives I know you have touched so richly
I have no idea what to think after your death
But until we see on that glorious day
I love you and I will always miss you and your warmth

It has been such an honour to have you as my Uncle. I wish it was for long but I would take knowing you over not knowing you at all. I sincerely wish you didn't have to go right now because you deserve more love and pamper. You gave yourself, you gave your love and heart to those who truly matters and I feel privileged. How you pampered me whenever I visit... Your voice still echoes in my head. I can't block out the image of you that I have in my head.

Adieu Dearest Uncle Peter Olufayo Oladoja.
