A high-throughput iteration of Polygon PoS, dubbed Gigagas, has achieved over 5000 TPS in testing. Its mainnet launch is expected between September-October 2025, with scalability goals of up to 100,000 TPS.

AggLayer v0.3 will go live on June 30, with full functionality by the end of Q3. It marks a return to the “mass shipping” phase of development.

The AggLayer Breakout program will continue, including airdrops to POL stakers.

Expansion of market maker engagement will follow the SEC’s closure of its investigation into the initial offering of POL.
