In my opinion, Sardinia is so amazing even because it has a great variety of landscapes (sea, mountain - in some places it seemed to me as to be in the Alps, without snow- flatlands) and colors.

In Sardinia, I got wet for a summer storm but I also experienced the thermometer of my car showing 45 °C (that time I got off the car, walked the tens of meter from the parking to the beach, left bags and umbrella falling on the ground and threw me into green blu water having not to care about dresses).

When the summer is very hot (almost every year) there are places where the yellow of the grass or the pale green of the succulents is prevailing in the landscapes (somewhere also near the beach).
