Onnia tomentosa - Annual mushroom, consisting of a cap and a stalk; hats close to the fruiting bodies are sometimes grown together. Tubular hymenophore, gray, gray-brown.

A hat with a diameter of 30 to 100 mm, circular or oval, often with a depression in the middle. Uneven surface, sometimes lumpy, velvety, felt; yellow-brown, cinnamon-brown, indistinctly concentrically zoned; margin quite sharp, undulating, slightly lighter.

Tubes up to 5 mm long, strongly converging on the stem; young gray, with age pale brown cinnamon.

Small, round or slightly angular pores, larger at the edge; 2-4 is 1 mm.

Stem quite short, conical, sometimes eccentric, funnel-shaped; on the surface felt, rusty brown.

Cork-like flesh, golden yellow, hard when dry. Smell pleasant, curry spice, mild flavor.

Occurrence: In coniferous forests, at the base and on the roots of conifers, especially spruce, less often pine. It grows individually or in groups, found throughout the year. Rare
