
Leucopaxillus rhodoleucus - Cap 30 to 80 mm in diameter, white, creamy white, velvety to the touch, fibrous; spherical in young, then flat and slightly concave. The bank was initially rolled up, later uneven and wavy.
Lamellae initially pink-salmon, pale in older fruiting bodies; adherent to the stipe, dense.
Stem 30 to 70 mm high, cylindrical, white or cream.
White, unchanging pulp. The taste is slightly sweet. Odor not detectable.
Occurrence: Mostly in coniferous forests, less often mixed. Very rare.
Value: Inedible mushroom.
