Mushrooms occurring in Europe - Exidia saccharina

Exidia saccharina - Spider fruit span 30 to 80 mm. In the shape reminiscent of the cerebral ganglia, krizowaty, flap-shaped, grown up. Colors of yellowish-brown, brown, browned or brown sugar. The surface (with a generic layer) has barely visible glandular dots.

The gelatinous and odorless pulp.

Occurrence: From late autumn to spring. Mainly in lowland pine and mixed forests on dead coniferous wood, especially pine, but also on firs, spruces or larches.

Value: Most authors state that it is an inedible mushroom.
