Cantharellus amethysteus - Hat 30 to 60 mm in diameter, initially convex, quickly flattened and concave in the middle, with an irregular, wavy and curled edge; dry and dry, dull orange covered with woolly or felt purple-lilac scales, especially in the central part, but sometimes also completely.

Thin slats, in the form of wrinkles resembling wrinkles of branched, converging on the shaft, pale yellow-orange to pinkish-orange, darkening orange.

Stem 20-40 x 10-20 mm, fleshy, converging in the lower part, pale yellow-orange, strongly blue (discoloring yellow-brown?) Under touch.

Hard, elastic, pale cream-yellow flesh, cut brown-orange. Smell and taste pleasant, slightly peach.

Occurrence: Grows in grass or fallen leaves, under broadleaf trees, oaks, beeches, birches, less often under pines.
Occurs in Europe in late summer to fall. Rare.
