Occurrence: In deciduous and coniferous forests, especially in spruce; on the ground, in bright places; on the remains of wood, plants, on fallen twigs, needles, cones. It grows in numerous clusters covering an area of a few cm²; from spring to autumn. Pretty rare.
Value: Unaffected fungus.
