Our local tip is not a tip but in fact a quarry. As you drive the 30 minutes towards it the scenery quickly changes from townhouses, to just houses to fields to bush. You turn down a dirt road and large signs state you are entering an active mine site, a smaller sign declares that the tip is here. You drive past desolate landscapes and dusty dirt roads and end up at a small paved area. It's here you dump your stuff on the ground. Don’t worry it is all sorted and collected, electronic waste is processed, recycling is carted away and the leftover is buried in the quarry and the land reclaimed.
