This will be an unpopular opinion but it is one that I will stand by. That being said I am open to other opinions and let's learn.
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, right?
If Bitcoin is supposed to replace fiat I don't think it's doing a very good job. Anyone who has sent or received bitcoin you know how long it can take. Now imagine me running a business why would I choose to accept bitcoin when fiat is much faster. Wouldn't it be better if I accept some other cryptocurrency where I know the transaction will at most take a day? I have read about how the lightning network is going to solve this problem but wouldn't it just be better if a better cryptocurrency is used?

After waiting 12 hours for your bitcoin to arrive at your wallet you realise you accidentally leaked your wallet address. Congratulations now anyone with time and brains can see all your past transactions. You only made it mildly inconvenient for the FBI to track you. You can make a new wallet but if you send the funds from your old wallet to your new, your new wallet can then be tracked. You can make multiple wallets and send the funds around so many times it becomes impossible but that seems very inconvenient for one blunder.
Proof of too much electricity
Bitcoin is estimated to use around 0.28% of the global electricity consumption. To put that in perspective that is more electricity than Switzerland, the country. Is it really worth it? Are there not better alternatives that we should work towards that are more efficient? The problem is not how much electricity bitcoin uses but whether or not it is worth it?
To Bitcoin's credit, I do see some of its advantages. There is no central organisation in charge of bitcoin. This is great because no one company or person can control bitcoin and we have control over how it runs. Everybody knows about bitcoin. If you speak to some random person on the street they will probably have had of bitcoin. If you are lucky they can tell you what it is. This presents a unique where most people's experience with cryptocurrency.
That is my two cents about bitcoin.
