The most import factor you must keep in mind when using a Bitcoin wallet, or any cryptocurrency wallet, you must be able to have complete control of your private keys.
Your private phrase seed can be stored in a logbook or flash drive, preferably both and then locked away for safe keeping. Now let us go into some of the wallets you can carry on your person.
The Original mobile wallet.

This wallet has the ability to create a back up data file for your USB. Always use the internal wallet backup and never any third party backup with any wallet. A third party would harvest the data for your wallet and have access. Always be self reliant and self responsible. I use this wallet only when ican pay with Bitcoin at a location. I never carry more than what I may need. This way there will never be a central point for anyone to even attempt to steal anything. They truly can not unless you allow them access.
COINOMI WALLET

The Coinomi multi-coin wallet is a great wallet for mining to, or making it the main collector of coins you mine to exchange it within the wallet app. If you are mining a coin not able to be traded on the Coinomi Wallet, you can always send those coins to an exchange and traded to a coin that you can send that can be traded within the Coinomi wallet.
Exchanges have their purpose just like many countries had currency exchanges to trade your countries currency for theirs. Security and common sense dictates you do not leave your coins on the exchange so you will never give criminals a central point to steal from.
Coinomi has a phrase seed to record in order to protect your wallet.
ELECTRUM WALLET

Electrum Wallet is the main wallet I mine too. This way coins can be sent to coinomi and traded within as needed. The choice is yours. Electrum also has a phrase seed to be recorded to protect your wallet.
The choice is simple always use a private wallet so that you and you alone have the access to your private keys. As the old saying goes, “not your keys, not your coins.”
