I practically gave this coin away today. If it were scrap silver it would be worth considerably more than this!
If You read my last related post, you know that I have made a decision to place extreme limits on the number of coins that I start out at 99cent bids. Even though it guarantees a sale, it certainly does not guarantee that you will get what the coin should bring! In many cases it does produce a competitive environment, where bids can soar. But it also has the downside where you can loose serious amounts of money. I have now been burned and intend curb that practice! I have become more experienced and a litter wiser, with the items I have since listed!
This also shows what a great bargain You missed. If you had only bid $2, You may have snatched this bargain basement steal! Anyway, they say that mistakes that cost you, are much easier to avoid in the future. I feel that I have learned my lesson. Hopefully, this could help you, if you are contemplating selling on Ebay.
