DogeLand - a Doge mining game
Came across this easy and simple game, where you can earn Doge by simply logging in once a day. DogeLand will hook you up with "%25 Affiliate Bonus" and a $30 gift. I don't mind the "%25" mistake as well I wouldn't say no to a $30 gift. I had to check the game and challenge it for a PVM Trial by Combat. I am not a Doge fan but I don't dislike it either, and if I can easily earn some... why not!
First impression was good as the game looks colorful and shiny. As a downside, looks like a copy after "My neighbor Alice". After I created my account and confirmed my email, I logged in and found 2.08 Doge in my wallet. Where did they came from?
The Dog on my land was the one responsible for the DOGE in my wallet. The character will mine 2.077 DOGE per day. My question now is where the character came from? Does he require food or any type of fuel to mine? Can I earn more than 2.077 per day?
I found some answers instantly, by tapping the character. His name is Baby Doge and I got it for free. He will work for me for a full year and doesn't require any maintenance, not even a bone as a reward. The mining rate can be improved by referring friends or by investing. I will never invest in a game so my choice is to share the game with my friends and family and check if they want to join DogeLand
Every user invited through the affiliate system will receive the $30 gift. The referrer will earn $1 worth of Dogecoin for every referral and 10% of their investments. The $1 bonus for referrals will not be added to the withdrawable balance in full, being divided as mining power to your character. When the player will reach 50 affiliates, will move to Level 2 the reward will grow to $1.20 per referral and 15% affiliate bonus.
By now you probably asking about the $30 gift... right? The gift is the "Baby Doge" character credited instantly for new users. He will earn DOGE and once you reach the minimum withdrawal cap, the balance can be cashed out.
But how to I cash out and which is the minimum withdrawal cap? You can open the withdrawal tab by tapping the wallet. The withdraw request will be processed in one day and the user must have 250 Doge or above to request the withdrawal. Let's do the quick calculation, as 250 Doge needed and 2.08 farmed per dat, than the minimum cap will be achieved in 121 days. Will take 4 months to earn $15 worth of DOGE. Please note that the calculation is at today's price and it may get better if Elon will tweet a DOGE meme again.
Did you panicked when you seen that will take 120 days to reach the cap? Don't worry as the earning will be boosted by the referrals and by the Friday Gift Box. Every Friday, between midnight and 23:59 UTC a gift box will containing from 1 to 100 DOGE will be credited to every DogeLand user. My Gift Box had 5 DOGE but some of my friends unwrapped even 20 DOGE. The weekly gift will drastically reduce the waiting time until the withdrawal cap will be reached.
Now... is this game like a faucet? It is like a faucet, unless you invest, which I don't recommend. The "free" players have to log every day to claim the reward. Those who invested, and this is pay2win and I hate it, will have the daily earnings automatically added into the balance.
We seen "invest" few times already but what investment options are on DogeLand? The players can invest in new characters that will earn more DOGE or in Land that will give extra DOGE and a better Gift Box every Friday.
Tapping the Cogwheel will open the menu, and the "Earn History" tab will can show how the earnings level evolved each day. I started with 2.07 in day one, earned 2.83 in day two and today my reward was 3.31 DOGE. With the 5 DOGE from the Friday Gift Box, I now have 13.23 DOGE, about $0.78 earnings from logging few seconds. In my opinion the reward rate is better than faucets.
At the moment I have 13.23 DOGE and my Doge Baby currently earns 3.4528 Doge/Day. Without any referrals and ignoring the Friday Gift Box, will take 68 days to reach the minimum withdrawal. Adding the Gift Box, I can predict I will make my first withdrawal in about one month, before the 1st of May.
DogeLand has a dedicated Support Centre page, where users can create a ticked and the request will be answered in 24 hours. But this is BS as this is available only for users with 2 or more characters, basically those who invested. For the commoners, the support will be given by email. I sent them an email on the 18th, just to see how long will take to get a reply.
Withdrawals are in DOGE but in the payments list I seen some payments in Litecoin (LTC) and Bitcoin (BTC), fact that made me rise my eyebrow. I had a look at the TX link but can't decide if it's something wrong with the transaction as I don't know at what to look.
