Lufthansa, one of Europe's leading airlines, today officially launched its NFT-based loyalty program that rewards passengers with digital collector cards that have various benefits. The Uptrip loyalty program covers all airlines of the group, including Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines and others. Uptrip was developed by the Lufthansa Innovation Group and uses Polygon, the second layer solution of Ethereum. Uptrip users can collect cards belonging to different themed collections to unlock special airline rewards, such as free in-flight Wi-Fi, access to airport lounges, redeemable air miles and more.

These are great activities for Lufthansa and Polygon, but even more important for the crypto niche is that more and more large companies are getting involved in the crypto space and many of them have also decided to join the Polygon network.
