Why you should trust Brave Browser?

By Makingdigital | makingdigitals | 4 Feb 2021

One of the news that has most excited us is the new user quota that Brave has recently reached. More than 25 million active users.

The Brave browser is taking market share from Google, one of the main reasons is the vulnerability of our privacy. Hundreds of cookies are installed in our browser every time we enter a page and then saturate our screen with irrelevant, low-value ads that only consume bandwidth and spoil our experience.
This is happening with YouTube, there are times when I have to go directly because of the amount of ads that are shown in the videos. Some cannot skip. A nuisance.

With Brave this is fixed quickly. It removes all the ads from you, increases the speed of connection with the servers and saves data on your network. If you are with your mobile, as the days go by it shows.

This year 2021 it is expected to increase the number of users in search of privacy. With the advancement of social networks and the epidemic that we are suffering, governments have become more controlling, manipulative and strict with information. We cannot allow it.

Likewise, Brave rewards our time browsing the net and offers a more tolerant, friendly and comfortable advertising service for the user who is not overwhelmed with banners or popups every time they enter a website to find out about anything.

However, Brave still has some things to improve. The first is to optimize your browser for less powerful computers, since I have noticed that with Brave the consumption of Ram and processor is higher. I don't know why this is but when you have multiple tabs open I occasionally experience 3-4 second freezes until it comes back.

The second would be to increase the number of rewards given for viewing ads. To get some BAT, you need to click on all the ads that appear, either on the background screen or those that appear in the notification panel.

The BAT token, thanks to the arrival of new users and the growth of Ethereum, increased its value by a couple of cents. I'm still hopeful that this token can appreciate in a few years. It has been stagnant for a long time and I believe that the high withdrawal fees do not benefit its growth.
