Did you read the Vitalik Buterin's statements on the role that Non Fungible Token (NFT) can play in socially relevant causes such as charities and funding public goods? 

The Ethereum founder initially stated that there's little social value in helping celebrities like Elon Musk add another $1 million to their bank balance by selling NFTs (like for example in selling personal tweets). 

Then he said that Non Fungible Tokens could have a significant impact on society and can be a social good. 

But how? 

Vitalik Buterin did 2 propositions: 

1. Creation of an autonomous and decentralized organization which, through the collective approval of its governance community, would auction certain NFTs giving a portion of the sales to charity. 

2. The second proposal is strongly linked with the first and is a mechanism that would incentivize users to buy and hold NFTs contributing to important social causes. It delas with a collaboration with social media platforms to integrate NFT into user profiles, allowing them to showcase what they have invested money in. 

Those are, in my opinion, two excellent proposals by Vitalik Buterin to promote economic and social equality and support social relevant causes. What do you think?
