These are such sad days for the whole humanity, when human beings are not able to cooperate and reach mutual agreements, we are all defeated and the war is the consequence.
What is happening in Ukraine is a violation of human rights, a genocide and a violation of the right of self-determination of peoples, which is a fuse for the outbreak of a new world war.
For this reason I would like to launch a provocation for the whole of humanity: the large military expenditures that the whole world is making risk leading to the outbreak of the Third World War. Sovereign States should focus on cooperation and improving the well-being and lifestyle of their own citizens: let's make #Web3 not #WW3
It is very sad to think that in 2022, the world still spend so much on armaments, when there are innovations that can improve people's lives and create wealth, such as the Internet of Things (IoT) or the Web3.
So here's my provocation: Let's make #Web3 not #WW3
What is Web3?
Web3 is an idea for a new iteration of the World Wide Web based on blockchain technology, which incorporates concepts including decentralization and token-based economics. Some technologists and journalists have contrasted it with Web 2.0, wherein they say data and content are centralized in a small group of companies sometimes referred to as "Big Tech". The term was coined in 2014 by Ethereum co-founder Gavin Wood, and the idea gained interest in 2021 from cryptocurrency enthusiasts, large technology companies, and venture capital firms.
