2022 Hawaii Event is over, so what's next?

The Hawaii event is over. I had lots of fun and managed to finish the quest chain. So what is next for Coin Hunt World?

Tiki Warrior printing frenzy

You may have plenty of Tiki Warrior blueprints to print for 100 red leis, 1000 green paint and 1000 resin. It ain't too bad...except the 1000 green paint each. If you purchased many of them, you will need all the paint you can get.  Hunting for green paint in vaults can be a pain. I would suggest that you hunt hard during Happy Hours in order to get these marvelous 500 green paint drops. The other solution is to get them from the Auction House. Currently they go for a hefty price as everybody wants them to print the Tikis. But why should I get all the Tikis? If our Cat blueprint experience has taught us anything, to have them all can result in a huge reward.   Kookoopuffs said that we want to have them all. No detail as transpired for now other than they may be usefull in a future game in the "Cubieverse".  So more to follow on this.

Next shop drop and HQ lvl 5

Illusionweaver said on Discord that the next shop drop will be an HQ skin for 1 yellow key. This is great and it also means that HQ level 5 upgrade is coming soon. It will cost 100K resin and must wear a Purple Cubie to upgrade. A HQ skin is a structure BP to decorate your HQ and is applied similarly like the Xmas trees.

Next event: Canada Day and 4th of July!

Next events are small events that are only available to Canada (1-2 July) and United States (4-5 July).  During Canada Day Special Event, special items will drop only in Canada such as Maple Syrup and Hockey Sticks, and the rare Canada Cubie BP. As for the July 4th Special Event, cowboy hats and footballs will drop in the United Stated, and the rare USA Cubie BP.  No quest chains, just simple resource box drops.

So what is the strategy now?

At this point, most of you have a low key inventory from hunting hard the Hawaii Event. The next few months should be used to replenish your key inventory in order to be ready for the next major event in august/september time frame (the anniversary event).

These messages are cryptic at best. Needless to say that all the events required lots of keys. So there are some strategies that you can adopt right now:

  • Do all your Buddy Quests for yellow keys.
  • Try to place at least Top 50 on your local leaderboard
  • Do all your walking quests
  • Hunt only Uservaults (for the blue and green key bonuses), higher tier vaults are key inventory destroyers.
  • Sell items in the Auction House
  • Get referalls (for the bonus keys)

Here is my key management strategy for key inventory building:

  • Collect Blue keys until I have 1000 of them.
  • Forge up to green all blue keys in excess of 1000.
  • This forging combined with the Uservault bonuses results in quick stacking of greens.
  • No need to forge up greens to yellow if you do your BQs. But...
  • If you have a decent amount of yellows you can start forging for red keys although I would wait to see the event details before doing so.

Following these strategies will allow you to have a decent stack of key in no time.

That is all for now!
