#15 - Adventure Road Strategy

Adventure Road (AR) is one of the most game changing improvements to Coin Hunt World. Before that, the game was limited to solving vaults and doing your walking quests. The game tended to be monotonous when there are no events running. The introduction of AR added a new layer of gameplay that has significantly changed our hunting habits. In this article, I will provide some tips to optimise your AR to help you reach the end of the road.

Why should you do the AR when there is no crypto as a reward?

The resources reward are worth keys in the Auction House just sell them and open more vaults.
AR gives you rare resources that were dropping in previous event.
Completing challenges gives you leaderboard points.

Why should you get the Adventure Pass (AP)?

- 4 points per solved vaults
- 10 points per walking quest levels completed.
- More rare resources including stamps
- Cool Achievement Cubies, display cases and cool new HQ Skins that are only available with AP.

It is speculated that having all AR cubies may trigger something OR be usefull for a special game mechanic. I believe purchasing the AP is worth its monetary value for the extra resources and the achievement prizes. If you hunt hard enough, your crypto rewards should be enough every month to cover the AP price.

Tips to finish most challenges:

Have all non-randomizer blueprints and the required resources at hand for the "Print a Cubie" challenge. Well at least, as many as possible.
Have one of every cubies for the "Equip a Cubie" challenge. That includes the random cubies.
Do not solve green vaults between, 12noon UTC and 00h00 UTC. You need to keep green vaults active in your area in anticipation of the next reset in case the "Solve 1 or 5 Green Vaults" challenges shows up. Also, if it is "Solve 5 GV" and your area do not have many of them, you will be able to take advantage of the 12noon UTC reset.
Do not hit your local yellow vault before Monday 00h00 UTC. Same reasons as above for green vaults.
Always have enough keys to forge up for the "Forge a GK/YK/RK". Granted that forging the Red key is a real challenge, it is epic effort after all.
Do not open your 8PM UTC Mystery Box, save it for a "open 1 or 3 mystery box" challenge that may come up. This is kind of an insurance policy in case you forget to claim one during that day. Mystery boxes given on the AR count towards completing that goal if it is active that day.
Study your trivia for the specific selected categories.

Tips to finish the Adventure Road

You have to score 300 points per day minimum
Follow the tips above, obviously.
If you cant complete one challenge, solve the equivalent number of vaults (50 vaults for regular, 25 vaults for AP holders).
For AP holders, complete your walking quests.
Claim all completed challenges. If you forget to claim it, you lose it at reset. It seems however that the rewards will be sent to your mailbox if you do not claim them on the Adventure Road (at least according to Khag).
Give you a 2 or 3 day advance on the adventure road early in the month in case you cant play for a few days.
