The Airbnb of Outdoor Advertising

HYGH is an outdoor advertising crypto startup based in Berlin. They are like the Airbnb of outdoor advertising, allowing advertisers to directly book digital ad space from businesses of all sizes who in turn earn passive income from the advertising network. HYGH is currently in pre-STO phase of development, launching their HYGH wallet next month in February 2019.

The future of out-of-home advertising is digital. Static ads are not as bright, weather-resistant, responsive, or dynamic. But what about the digital out-of-home market itself? It is still highly centralized. A handful of large and slow moving corporations hold the majority of all digital out-of-home (DOOH) media inventory and space.

A few years ago I owned an outdoor advertising agency that specialized in selling all media that is out-of-home (billboards, bus stops, supermarket checkout screens, etc.) to mid-size businesses. We experienced some frustrations with the industry that HYGH seems to have found solutions for.

Benefits of the HYGH platform:

Decentralized

Digital billboard and other DOOH media buys no longer have to be placed through sales reps from the large sluggish OOH giants. Depending on the size and number of markets the ad is placed it takes weeks sometimes months to place a buy and for the campaign to go live the traditional way. The HYGH platform allows the advertiser to use the Campaign Creator tool to launch their ad within minutes. This allows advertisers to start monitor their own ad campaign instantly and in real-time.

Lower Advertising Cost

Due to the higher cost of DOOH small businesses are unable to afford the higher price point and are left out the loop. But HYGH opens the doors of digital out-of-home advertising to everyone, no matter the size of the business or budget.

A local chain of cafes can push an ad promoting their late night hours to a variety of different businesses in the area such as gas stations or tennis clubs. Large movie studios are also able to launch a global digital ad campaign to massive billboards in Times Square and international airports around the world. Advertisers can hand-pick specific time slots, budgets, and locations, etc.

Higher Earnings for Display Providers

Any business can become a display provider as long as they have a display the size of an iPad or larger. Display providers earn 83.5% of each transaction deposited through bank transfer in either USD or Euros from HYGH AG. Businesses can also select what category of ads they allow.

HYGH Token Owners are Investors

9% of revenue goes to the HYGH Token Holders, with payouts given quarterly. The minimum investment in the pre-STO phase is 250 USD and investors must get KYC verified.
