Binance finally supports Matic on Polygon PoS mainnet (+2 Faucet Links)

Hey humans,

Polygon starts the day off with good news: It is now possible to deposit and withdraw $MATIC directly on the Polygon chain.

What has changed?

So far you had to withdraw your $MATIC as an ERC-20 token onto the Ethereum Mainnet. If you were to use it for DeFi like SushiSwap or Aave you would either pay huge ETH-gas fees for every transaction or use the Polygon PoS Bridge to bridge your tokens over to the Polygon chain.

With this update there is no need for you to do that anymore. Just withdraw your $MATIC straight onto Polygon and profit off the low L2 gas fees.

Matic Faucets

If you want to do your first transactions on Polygon you can load up some free $Matic for Gas Fees on one of the faucets:

I hope you enjoyed my post. Let me know if you have any questions and feel free to drop me a comment!
Have a great day and see you around,
