While Bitcoin and Ethereum hold a very strong lead as the first and second cryptocurrencies by market cap, I thought I would switch it up and instead write about a few other altcoins that I am excited about for this bull run. All prices are listed in USD.

1. Polygon (MATIC)

+58.28% in the past month

Current price: $0.80

All time high: $2.92

What has me excited:

• Yesterday (Nov 16th), MATIC set a 2 year high for total transactions on the network in a 24 hour span - with 6.1 million transactions being recorded
• Transactions in general have also been steadily increasing over the past month
• The value of MATIC futures almost doubled in the past month, to the tune of $240 million

2. Chainlink (LINK)

+84.06% in the past month

Current price: $13.39

All time high: $52.88

What has me excited:

• Currently has over 1,900 projects use LINK to connect smart contracts with off chain data
• At the forefront of intersecting AI with blockchain technology
• Because LINK exists to co-exist with other blockchains, it can be a solid bet going forward as it is incredibly versatile compared to other chains

3. Stellar (XLM)

+12.52% in the past month

Current price: $0.11

All time high: $0.87

What has me excited:

• At its current low price, XLM is the kind of crypto you can still buy tons of for cheap. Only $100 will give you 909 XLM
• One of the best solutions for cross border money transfers
• Supply of XLM is currently capped, with no plans to introduce more supply to the market - thus increasing scarcity
