I have been putting home movies, youtube vides, and lots of other movies on DVD for years for people. They work in EVERY DVD PLAYER. I used DeVeDe before DeVeDeNG came out. Both work immensely well. Very intuitive, easy to use, create a menu of many videos on one disk and choose to play them all or one at a time or anything in between with the menu. You get to choose a picture, any picture, as a background for the menu. The Key to success is to use DVD-R NOT DVD+R disks.

HD videos work too with a little poking at the settings.

A good companion to prepare the videos to go on DVD is Handbrake which you can install on Windows too
