In the lush, green village of Sekandarpur in Feni lived two extraordinary souls—Prince and Golapi. Prince was strikingly handsome, someone girls fell for at first glance. But amidst all the admiration, his heart chose none other than Golapi, a simple, humble girl from a very poor family. Her father worked hard just to put food on the table. Golapi was the embodiment of modesty and sincerity—a true "daughter of the soil."

In her modest yard grew a rose plant that she cared for deeply. She watered it every morning and evening, treating each bloom with love. Prince watched her quietly from a distance, mesmerized. Though many admired him, his heart beat only for Golapi.
One day, mustering courage, Prince stood before her to confess his feelings. But Golapi, shy and afraid, quickly walked away. Still, Prince didn’t give up. He followed her from afar, trying to express his heart, but she always avoided him. Eventually, he made a final decision—to confess his love once and for all. He blocked her path and poured out his feelings. Golapi declined, explaining their financial disparity and saying their worlds were too far apart.
Even then, Prince didn't give up. He started collecting a rose every day for her, preserving them secretly. One day, he left all the roses under her rose tree with a heartfelt letter:
"I love you deeply. These roses are the proof of my love. I chose them because you love roses, and I love everything you love. From now on, I won’t bother you again. Please forgive me if I ever hurt you."
After that day, Prince disappeared. Golapi, upon reading the letter and seeing the roses, felt a strange emptiness. She realized she had grown feelings for him too. But a harsh truth remained—Prince came from a wealthy, respected family, and his father would never accept a poor girl.
Suddenly, tragedy struck. Prince fell severely ill. Both of his kidneys had failed, and no suitable donor could be found. His father searched desperately. Hearing the news, Golapi stepped forward to donate one of her kidneys. Despite her family’s strong objections, she insisted. After tests, her kidney was found to be a perfect match, and the surgery was a success.
When Prince regained consciousness and learned that Golapi had saved his life, he wept uncontrollably. “She gave me a part of herself. I owe her my life,” he said.

His father asked Golapi what she wanted in return. She replied, “Nothing. I just want Prince to always be happy.” As she turned to leave, Prince stopped her.
"Father, I want one thing. Since a part of Golapi lives inside me, I want her to be by my side forever. I want to marry her. Will you agree?"
After a pause, his father said, “If Golapi and her family agree, then so do I.”
Golapi smiled quietly.
Love, like a rose, speaks in silence. And waiting reveals the true depth of emotion.
