My favourite t-shirt

My favourite t-shirt

By LeftFooted | LeftFooted's Antics | 29 Sep 2024

I've decided to start a new column, feature, space, whatever we want to call it.

Basically, I'm a bit of a hoarder and I find it very difficult to throw away stuff. I do, eventually, but it's difficult.

And I think it's difficult because, to an extent, I don't agree with people who say 'stuff is just stuff'.

Is your father's watch that he inherited from your grandfather 'stuff'? Is the cottage outside the city that you worked so hard and saved so much to buy 'stuff'? Is your favourite tea mug that your partner give you 'stuff?

You get the gist.

The point is, sometimes, there are things I associate with memories, so I I feel like I want to take a picture (before I throw it away), and briefly share the story behind it.

This is probably my favourite t-shirt, which I had to throw away because it was full of holes and the part at the front was getting all ruined.

I'm sure I have pictures wearing it, but I took this one right before I chucked it in the bin.

I don't remember where I bought it, but I do remember wearing during a work party at a swimming pool location right outside Kyiv in 2018.

For whatever reason, one of my ex colleagues, who's Japanese, decided to show up at the party wearing a kimono, and I was wearing this.

Pictured below, me with my fave t-shirt and my ex-colleague.

I loved that job (it was a crypto job by the way), and I loved that trip.

And I loved that t-shirt.
