We are not like everyone else. We are different. Most people go about their daily lives without much thought. Weekly routines of going to work, paying bills, eating, going shopping, going home after work, meeting friends, planning trips, and watching Netflix or playing video games. Living for the weekend without much concern about what is happening in the world, let alone their financial future. Yes, those of us who invest in Bitcoin are different, but it's a good thing.
Seeing How the World Really Is
There is no sugar-coating it. The world is set up for you to fail. The cost of living is soaring, and salaries have been stagnant for years. We are playing a losing game, where most can't get ahead. Those who have fallen down the Bitcoin rabbit hole have seen the light. The only way to escape the Matrix is to first be aware that you are trapped in it. From that point on, we can begin our journey toward financial freedom.
It isn’t only the monetary system and wages that are stacked against us. It is also the government. While it is a controversial belief, the truth is that the government prefers to keep the status quo rather than make any sweeping changes that will changes that will change class orders. Free stimulus money was given to normal people in the US to try and prevent the economy from going into a deep depression. People complained that inflation was out of hand and that more stimulus was needed to stay afloat financially. However, the government groaned and say it was unfeasible. Too much money would need to be printed. But at the same time, the government was giving free handouts to companies, and large corporations. Giving a buffet to the rich, and scraps to regular people. It is a story that constantly repeats itself. In the USA, you have probably heard of “trickle-down economics.” This is just another example of this.
Planning for the Future
One of the key areas that set Bitcoiners apart from most people is that we are extremely passionate about planning for the future. Some would even argue that we go overboard on this.
The scary fact is that a large number of people aren’t planning for the future. They haven’t started a retirement fund, and don’t have enough cash saved to cover emergency expenses. There was a study in the US, where a large percentage of people didn’t even have an extra few hundred dollars to cover surprise expenses.
Bitcoiners on the other hand are obsessive about planning for their retirement. Trying to accumulate as much as they possibly can. Building passive income streams, and sticking to a strict budget. We are deeply entrenched in macro news, interest rates, and what is happening financially around the world. Knowledge truly is the tool that can set you free.
Handling Adversity
For better or worse, Bitcoiners are skilled at handling adversity, and we have to be. If we weren’t, surviving the volatility of the Bitcoin market would be impossible. In three years, the price of BTC has gone from $10k, down to $3.5k, back up to $10k, then rocketing up to $64k, moving down to $29k, soaring back up to $69k, down to $15k, and now back up to $28k. Simply put, investing in the best market is the rollercoaster ride of a lifetime. If you let it, the market will chew you up and spit you out without a warning.
Motivated for Greatness
There are very few groups of people that are more motivated than Bitcoiners. Not only are they willing to stand on their convictions and take risks, but they also have an unquenchable hunger to strive for more. Many of us are here striving to change our lives financially and will accept nothing less than that.
They put in the extra work and research while their peers are relaxing during their free time. They know the change that will soon be coming to the world, and that their change to accumulate is coming to an end. They constantly feel a sense of FOMO and are doing everything they possibly can to acquire as much Bitcoin as they possibly can.
Willing to Stand for a Change
While Bitcoiners have been accused of being toxic about their beliefs. The truth is that they are one of the few groups of people that are willing to stand up for what they believe in. Even if it means being disliked, being against groupthink, or losing out on profits by not investing in altcoins.
Now that the US government is beginning to fight the crypto industry. These Bitcoiners who are willing to take a stand and fight for what they believe in could become more important than ever.
Bitcoiners are the original pioneers in the cryptocurrency market. They have been here the longest, have the most experience, and have already seen things that other chains are just beginning to experience. There is a lot that we can learn from them, traits that will make you successful not only in this market but in all aspects of life.
How about you? Do you have the Bitcoin mentality?
