ArtVndngMchn is many things. It's a wrapped, randomized fine art collection on the WAX blockchain from over 20 international artists. It's a project that has raised over $7,000 USD for charity (MERCYworldwide). And as if that were not enough, it is also a game where users can view artwork in a gallery experience while also riding rollercoasters, waterslides, and fighting monsters in a 3D virtual world!
Recently I had the unforgettable pleasure of being interviewed by the incredible folks at The Uplift World about ArtVndngMchn from the gaming side. Our overarching subject was the 3D interactive art amusement park that my son and I built on their Minecraft server! We call it The ArtVndngMchn Amusement Park. This lively conversation covers a concise blend of fine art, gaming, economics, and NFT topics that many in crypto, as well as cryptoart and gaming can appreciate.
Riding the rollercoaster through a painting is just one of many surprises to experience.
As a recent Californian, our family is surrounded by so many famous theme parks of grand proportions--especially in SoCal where we live. As such, it seems quite fitting that building ArtVndngMchn Amusement Park (an epic 3D virtual theme park) would eventually be an accomplishment of ours too.
