I was going through my old posts to see if I had a quick win I could post on BULB that would qualify as great, because I did not complete that challenge yet.
No clue what I am talking about, read my post from last week because I ain't got time for that:
While going through my post I noticed how much Baby BS I publish and that every now and then I actually have a point. As if sometimes I can see into the future.
But itยดs all because life and crypto is a cycle and I learnedย In Cycles We Trustย or at least I do.
Then I came across the post about the BTC into the Future chart.
Can I Trust The BTC Chart That Predicts The Future?
What Chart?
Donยดt tell me that you have not found this magical mystery chart that predicts the future of BTC.
Seriously, you have never heard of the:ย Bitcoin cycle repeat chart?
Well, you have now, and once itยดs seen you canยดt unsee it.
This post was from Aug 2023 and this is what the BTC future would look like based on all historical data.
Did I Make You Look?
And if you looked, did you also see?
Yup, Sugar we were going down, further down than SBF took us last year.
All the way down to 15K by March 2024.
Back then I probably did two things by telling you this:
- I was spreading Doom & Gloom
- And providing hopium that you could still buy cheaply.
However, the harsh reality in crypto and in life is that you can trust no one. Not even a smart chart like this.
Because if there is a God he or she, or maybe even it, is A Master at throwing one billion curve balls a day, at us the dressed-up monkeys.
Because look what actually happened!
The Truth Is Not Out There
I remember a movie telling me I canยดt handle the truth, it took me many years to figure that one out, but I finally found the answer.
There is no one truth.
But all jokes aside (although that was a bloody serious find tbh)
The most interesting part of the Aug 2023 chart was probably the buy-low opportunity in March 2024.
What If?
What if I had put my faith in a chart and waited to buy crypto till March 2024?
That dip down to 15K looked mighty tasty and it was based on everything that previously happened in BTC history, so that made it seriously possible to happen again.
Fat Chance
Unfortunately, those who predict the future based on history fail to see one thing. Life is a constant of ever-changing events.
In simple words, if you can count donยดt count on it because there is always that one thing messing up the future. This time we all know what it was.
Even back in August, we could already see a possible ETF scenario play out and change that chart completely.
What did March 2024 look like?
Well, you would have probably called yourself seriously bad things if you trusted the AUG 2023 BTC Future chart.
You would be sick all over, and poo your panties if you did not buy ALTS from Aug til Nov.
Because many of the ALTS I bought were up 3-6X by March 2024 which was the first little ALT SZN from the 2024 run.
According to the future chart, March would not reach above 20K, while we all know that it broke the 67K previous ATH.
Ouch
That future chart was so wrong, I will never look at it again.
And then it hit me.
This was, of course, an ideal way to figure out this whole leftie cycle thing.
You know this left translated cycle thing caused by the ETF, is it real, is it not? All that wooly influencer stuff you hear all the time.
So let's look again at what 2024 looked like in August 2023.
In a normal halving cycle we would break the ATH and hit 70K in January 2025.
And in our warped reality this is what happened:
Oh now you are curious and want a closer look, but I showed you this chart was wrong before.
You still want to look closer donยดt you:
An after-the-halving top in Nov. 2025 with BTC at 503K???
I told you this chart is off, but what I was looking for was when PARABO?
When PARABO?
In August 2023 the PARABO trend upwards would start in November 2024.
Now did that point move according to the future chart incorporating the ETF event?
It hardly changes the trendline, the numbers are way higher than back in August 2023 we could predict, but the PARABO based on what the chart knows now will not start till the end of September 2024.
Thatยดs when we break the 84K and go Crazy.
And that crazy party ends in October 2025.
There is probably a lot more you can pick up from that chart and looking at the trend instead of the numbers. But keep in mind itยดs all about understanding the big picture.
Bikini Bottom Line
This is not NFA, but this trend makes sense, the numbers might be a bit too high. But I no longer believe in fairytales, Super Cycles, Left Screwed Cycles, or any other fun stuff that they can come up with.
In Cycles I trust, and this trend makes Cyclish sense to me.
Will I put my money on it?
Hell No!
My plan is, and has been, take profit on the way up. Buy the dip till Nov 2024 and sell everything from Nov 2024 til Nov 2025.
I donยดt need to see the future for that, itยดs all in the cycle.
