Here’s the translation:
In a large warehouse in Kahrizak, south of Tehran — the capital — this footage has gone viral on social media.
Shot on Saturday, January 10 [20 Dey], the video shows families desperately searching among rows of bodies wrapped in plastic sheets laid out on the ground.
It is said that — despite the regime’s complete internet shutdown — these images were sent out via Starlink by someone who had gone there hoping to find a loved one.
No official count of the bodies in that place has been released yet. But the floor of the warehouse is covered with them, and some corpses have been placed outside, along the walls.
Many of those lying there are young people and teenagers under the age of 20.
X (formerly Twitter) has restricted these images for many users in Europe due to their sensitive nature; under local laws, access is blocked until age verification is completed.
X has also provided a link explaining the age-verification process. Even with the total internet blackout across the country, some people have managed to send videos abroad. Now, as internet access slowly returns, more footage is emerging.
The limited number of videos that have reached journalists already contain deeply disturbing scenes: trucks loaded with piled-up bodies, layer upon layer. What stands out is that most protesters deliberately avoid carrying phones — or if they do, they rarely film. Many of the released videos are deliberately blurred to hide faces, because showing them could lead to arrest, torture, or even execution later. That makes the sheer volume of footage now coming out all the more astonishing.
Many other videos are Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts and can’t be embedded here — we’re only providing the links if you wish to view them on YouTube.

A shattering eyewitness account of the massacre of protesters:
On Thursday night, they lost control. They brought snipers onto rooftops, painting red laser dots on people before firing live rounds. I heard the crack of a bullet pass right beside my face. Then, suddenly, someone behind me dropped to the ground.
On Friday, they moved to mass slaughter.
That day, every Basiji and every IRGC member had a firearm in hand. How can I explain it? It was as if they were playing a video game. I saw Basijis and Guards carrying Kalashnikovs, G3s, and many with sidearms.
They ran people over with vehicles. Some had their throats slit with box cutters. What I realized myself: when they wanted to deliver the final shot — because they had been ordered to finish off anyone left wounded — and when ammunition ran low, they simply cut the throats of the injured with cutters.
One thing is very clear: these forces didn’t actually have overwhelming military strength. I say this because I’ve taken part in past protests too. This time, the nature of the demonstrations is completely different from previous years. For example, on Saturday in the Third Square of Tehranpars, I saw 14–15-year-old Basiji boys dressed in riot police uniforms, placed there just to inflate their apparent numbers.
My message to the repression forces who have turned their weapons on the children of this nation: Wherever in the world you flee — we will find you. And anyone who tries to downplay these crimes, to wash the blood from this regime’s hands — will pay the price. Be certain of it.
