RollerCoin is an online, virtual Bitcoin mining game where you compete against other players to mine cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. It takes the concept of real Bitcoin mining, but instead of the sophisticated Blockchain and processing algorithms, RollerCoin lets you test your skills and play games to build your mining empire.
You’ll play fun and addictive mini-games to increase your mining power. The more powerful your miner is, the greater your pool share will be. You’ll play as though you were really mining: Every ten minutes a Bitcoin block is allocated and all active players get a piece of it. Your cut depends on your mining power. You’ll enjoy rewards regardless of how much time and effort you put into the game.
RollerCoin has almost hit 2 million registered users! It is evident that RollerCoin is becoming exponentially even more popular! And the RollerCoin team doesn’t seem to be slowing down. In less than 2 weeks RollerCoin Season 2 will be ending and Season 3 will begin in early December!
What can we expect from the upcoming RollerCoin update? All we can do is speculate… but we can make educated guesses based on information the RollerCoin team have given us in the past.
New Season and Event Pass
Of course there will be a new Event and Season Pass. The Season pass benefits both free to play players and those who purchased the Event Pass. Season 1’s pass was priced at 149.99 RLT while Season 2’s was priced at 199.99 RLT. Hopefully Season 3’s price will be back down to 149.99 RLT 🤞
In terms of value, the Event Pass is well worth the price. The miners themselves are valued well over 1,000.00 RLT. In total, all the miners combined will add an additional 1,000+ TH/s to your total power.
Hopefully there will be new weekly quests. Season 1 and Season 2had the quest to refer a new user EVERY week… While it wasn’t impossible, completing the task was difficult for a majority of players. Will the RollerCoin team finally listen and remove this tedious task? Probably not…. 😩
Season 2 even added the “Spend 40 RLT” quest which really increased the cost the of the Event Pass by an additional 200 RLT 😠
New Air Drops
During Season 3, all RollerCoin games will have an equal chance of giving special drops to players! The chance of receiving drops is the same for both free-to-play and paid players! Buying the Event Pass will not increase your chances of receiving these new drops.
What are these new drops? Some of these drops will give you “resources” that are needed in order to “merge” or upgrade your digital miners. These drops may also include rare miners. We will find out the full details next month.
New Cryptocurrency and NFTs
Binance Coin was the latest cryptocurrency brought to RollerCoin. The RollerCoin team have confirmed that they would like to add more cryptocurrencies to mine every season!
RollerCoin users on Social Media have expressed their interest in adding popular cryptocurrencies like LTC, ETC, and ADA. Adding more cryptocurrencies to the game would be great since it would mean more options for the millions of RollerCoin users. Which cryptocurrency would you like to see added to the game?
I’m unsure of how the RollerCoin team will implement NFT into the game but it is something that they have talked about on several occasions. The concept seems cool but again I’m not sure how it would be implemented in game.
New Roller Mini-Game
It took nearly 7 months for the RollerCoin team to release their latest game, Token Surfer, after Dr. Hamster was released. It’s now been over a year since then and you would certainly agree that we are due for a new game.
RollerCoin gave us a tease of it’s upcoming new mini game which looks similar to a 2D version of Temple Run.
I am really hoping this new mini game will be added in this next season!
New Skins and Room Decor
The August update brought our first Mining Room skin “the office” to the game. It’s possible a new skin will be made available for the December update!
During the first season RollerCoin players were able to collect the Gold RollerCoin Season Cup trophy if they reached level 13. Season 2 did not offer any trophies or room decor but it’s possible Season 3 could bring this feature back. I would love for a RollerCoin hamster to be the next season’s free trophy! Or maybe even a holiday snow globe? Would you be excited if this was added in the next update?
New Miners and Lootboxes
You can bet that once again we’ll see some new miners in the shop as well as new limited Lootbox miners. Most likely there will be a Christmas themed Lootbox.
There are so many exciting things on the horizon for RollerCoin and I am more than excited for what’s to come.
