Michael "Mike" Ehrmantraut is a Marine Corps veteran, former Philadelphia police officer, and retired career criminal, who worked for both Gustavo Fring and Saul Goodman as a private investigator, head of security, cleaner, fixer, and hitman.

He was also the right-hand man to Gus in his drug empire, and was also a temporary and reluctant partner in Walter White's drug empire.
