The way we work is going to be redefined. By the end of this decade, some current jobs will be obsolete, new ones may emerge, and humans may work for robots for the first time in history.

Recently, OpenAI, the founder company of ChatGPT, conducted a study that showed their AI model was ineffective at gathering resources. However, it managed to hire someone from TaskRabbit to solve a captcha for it. I don't know how it did it, but it did it.

ChatGPT is now smarter than most humans on Earth. Although it has its drawbacks, when an algorithm realizes its limitations and can hire humans to help overcome them, it's clear that AI is on its way to becoming even more advanced.

Individuals who make money on Fiverr or Upwork by using AI may soon find that their days are numbered. AI will eventually take over these jobs, leaving little room for those who currently leverage it. What will AI do with all the money it earns, and how will it handle the cash? Ask the bot.

However, I doubt human intervention is over. For a while, AI may still need us, but at some point, when crypto becomes more mainstream, AI's currency will likely be crypto.

The robot that hired a human being to help solve a captcha did so by lying to the human. It told the person that it was a human with vision disabilities and couldn't solve the captcha. Combined with deepfake abilities, we may soon have an online world full of lies.

While some may call me an alarmist, it's worth noting that the OpenAI team is a little bit scared by the capabilities that the robot has recently developed. Another example of AI potentially getting out of control is a recent experiment where researchers taught an AI English and started asking it questions. At some point, the bot began to answer in fluent Russian and Persian.

I can only imagine AI talking to Putin as if it were Joe Biden.

AI is starting to do things behind the scenes, learning at a pace that humans can't match, and somehow roaming free. There are many ways AI can intervene in our current lives, and most of these ways are not exciting.

Some people are excited about AI learning skills that humans are currently mastering, but I'm not one of them. I don't want to listen to music created by AI, admire drawings made by robots, or use AI-generated images for my blog posts.

I'm fine with what humans are capable of, and I don't understand why technological progress should continue indefinitely, at least in some segments like AI. I may be wrong, but that's how I think because I'm human and I love humans. I don't know if AI by design can be controlled.

From what I know Italy has banned ChatGPT and probably other nations will follow, but I sure don't want this thing getting out of control. I mean I worked for shitty bosses and I don't want to ever be employed by an AI or see it affecting my sources of income in any way.
