Dumb Money Doing What It Does Best...

Bitcoin is close to smashing $52,000 in valuation against the "currency of the world" and although we've seen it at this price level and above just a few months ago, the majority of us knows that this time will be different. Bitcoin is no longer testing anything, like it did in January-May time frame.

This time though, the digital asset that's gradually turning into a veritable store of value, is heading towards the peak of this bull cycle and ready to march to unimaginable peaks. The levels BTC will reach in just a few months from now are hard to grasp for many investors out there.

Especially the dumb money. I often talk about dumb money on my blog, because I get to meet them so often both online and offline. I'm no "genius money" but my experience in crypto has managed to take me out of this investors category.

I do have a friend who I call dumb money, because his actions in the market are plain stupid and they definitely reflect this category of investors. I talked to him on the phone a few hours ago and after the conversation ended I realized that dumb money will always do what they do the best: loosing money.

This guy has put around $5,000 into crypto, back in April I guess, has seen his portfolio rise in value, go down massively during the crash that took BTC from $40,000 to $30,000 in a matter of minutes, exited the market on a loss, quite a huge one I'd say and now he's calling me just to ask me if I've seen ETH's price performance lately...

Man, that's what I do for a living, I told the guy, of course I know how ETH is performing. I told him before he's bought his 2 ETH that this asset will be worth $10,000 by the end of the year and I still stand by my prediction. I have also stated a few posts ago that in the next few months every shit will pump in crypto and only a fool won't make money in this market.

Well, this friend of mine is that type of fool who won't make money in crypto this bull cycle. I was pretty much the same in 2017, I know how it feels to be in that category. It's like a given though, that fresh meat is fried every cycle. Probably less than 10% of the new crypto investors are making decent gains during bull markets, although such cycles "are designed" to make us money, right.

Why?

Quite simple... They don't bother to educate themselves about the halvings, WHICH IS VITAL FOR A CRYPTO INVESTOR IMO, they are not keen to dedicate at least five minutes a day educating themselves on blockchain technology and cryptocurrency and their timing and level of understanding on what they've put their money on is basically null.

They just want to make money and that's it... Well, surprise surprise, that's not enough, I can tell that from my own experience. My educational process in regards of crypto has actually started after I joined Steem and am still a noob when looking at where crypto has managed to penetrate. I was a complete noob before that and I deserved loosing all the money I lost during the most profitable time frame of a bull market.

So, the conclusion my friend got to, is that he'll stick with what he does best, which is selling second hand car spare parts and try his luck in crypto next bull cycle. He has plenty of time by then to amass a minimum level of education that will for sure grant him decent profits by investing in crypto. Meanwhile...

Dumb Money Doing What It Does Best... Enjoy the bull market, my friends, it will be epic.

Thanks for attention,
Adrian
