Cheap Words of Advice

My first ever owned crypto is Golem, I had received it from a friend of mine who introduced this technology to me and that's how I first tested this type of digital money. I have ever since swapped through tens of cryptos and managed to harness myself quite some experience in crypto.

I am still a fool though, but something's changed...

I used to be an even greater one a few years back and proof for that is my experience with ADA. At some point, I guess 2019-2020, I have bought myself some ADA, it was dirt cheap, I bought 10,000 of them for 3 cents each.

It was a small part of my portfolio, but the chart looked good, it was way down from its ATH from back in 2017. I managed to held that ADA for a few months until I started reading on twitter all sort of "professional opinions" from accounts having memes as profile pics regarding what's good and bad to hold during the bull market of 2020-2021.

There were quite a few saying that the old performers, such as ADA, ETH and others won't manage to hold the pace with new projects and that it's a waste of time and money to invest in them anymore. I was fool enough to believe them and sold my 10,000 ADA that were bought at bargain prices...

Lucky me, I could have made some decent money with it.

Yeah, had I held the 10,000 ADA I bought back then I would have had close to $30,000 now from the good old Cardano, but I left myself convinced by all sort of shitheads on twitter that old projects are not gonna make it. Well, both ETH and ADA are proof of the contrary.

You see, the crypto community is not the most trustful place and often times you can make very bad decision leaning your ear to all sort of so called crypto gurus. Hence the best financial advisor is yourself. I am at the point where I simply don't take any advice from anyone when it comes to crypto.

My personal experience is more than enough to decide where I should put my money and what's there to be sold and what's due for HODLing. I still use twitter and get myself all sort of information from over there, but I no longer trade or invest based upon "professional advice" from twitter.

I have made too many mistakes in this regard and won't repeat them. I believe I have a healthy strategy for this bull market and I am not ever gonna buy or sell based on anyone's opinions. I sure know there are fresh investors making the same mistake, but I'm not doing it anymore. I've learned my lesson.

Thanks for attention,
Adrian
