Bitcoin is a truly decentralized money that is available to people around the world. It's built on an immutable ledger that can be used to store any sort of important information indefinitely. Bitcoin is also becoming extremely energy friendly, as it is driving investments in energy production and reducing humanity's waste.

Despite all of these positive benefits, Bitcoin still faces criticism from many people. For example, the Biden administration recently expressed its displeasure with, of all things, Bitcoin miners' transition to using renewable energy.

This criticism is misguided. Bitcoiners are simply following the same path that the rest of the world is taking in terms of investing in renewable energy. In fact, Bitcoin miners are helping to drive the adoption of renewable energy by providing a reliable source of demand.

The real reason that some people are critical of Bitcoin is that they are threatened by its potential to disrupt the status quo. Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer currency that does not require the permission of any central authority. That makes it a threat to the power of governments and banks, who are used to controlling the flow of money.

However, Bitcoin is not going away. It's too powerful and too beneficial to be stopped. The best thing that critics can do is to accept that Bitcoin is here to stay and to start figuring out how to benefit from it.

Build Bitcoin for Users, Not Critics

The focus of Bitcoin should be on exciting its users, not on pacifying its critics. There is no way to please everyone, so it is better to focus on the people who are already using Bitcoin and who are excited about its potential.

Bitcoin has tens of millions of users worldwide, and the potential user base is even larger. These people are the ones who will ultimately decide the future of Bitcoin. If Bitcoin can continue to deliver value to these users, then it will be successful.

There will always be some people who reject Bitcoin, but that is okay. Bitcoin won't force itself on people. However, it is for the people who want a decentralized, incorruptible money. Those are the people who will ultimately decide the future of Bitcoin.
