Launched on January 17, 2025, MomoTube (also known as Momowatch, Pesatube) promises an easy way to earn money online through simple video tasks, app testing, surveys, and a generous referral program. With a flashy $8 sign-up bonus and claims of earning $20+ daily, it targets users worldwide—including markets in Nigeria, South Africa, Pakistan, and Ghana. However, a growing body of customer reviews from these regions paints a very different picture. Users report issues like accounts getting stuck in “pending” status, delayed or never-received withdrawals, and a general lack of reliable customer support.
Momotube / Momowatch Scam Update October 2026: Global Alert for Nigeria, SA, PK & Ghana Users
If you are in Nigeria, South Africa, Pakistan or Ghana and you are still using Momotube, http://Momowatch.site or Pesatube, read this before you waste your data.
*October 2026 Update: Is Momotube Still Paying?*
No. As of October 24, 2026, there is still zero verifiable payment proof. The withdrawal page still shows fake stats like "$37 sent to user" but no one has shown a real bank or crypto receipt in 2026. All pending withdrawals from 2025 are still pending.
*5 Red Flags That Confirm It Is a Scam*
1. *Fake MTN MoMo Link:* The platform claims affiliation with MTN MoMo. MTN never partnered with them. The name was used to gain trust in Africa.
2. *Unrealistic Bonus:* $8 sign-up bonus plus $1.80 per referral for watching videos. No ad network pays that for free traffic. It was bait.
3. *Impossible Withdrawal:* You need Level 4 and $30 to withdraw. Level 1 to 2 needs 15 referrals, Level 3 needs 50+. They make money from your referrals and ads while you chase levels.
4. *No Support:* Click Contact Us on http://momowatch.site - it leads to a dead page. After almost 2 years online, still no email, no support.
5. *Same Scam Script:* This is the same code as VideoJob, CashTube, FreeStar before it. New name, same trap. ScamAdviser flagged it since early 2025.
*User Reports in 2026*
Nigeria: "My $32 pending since July 2025, still pending October 2026"
Ghana & South Africa: Accounts blocked after reaching $30
Pakistan: Facebook groups now list Momowatch as data-harvesting scam
*Final Verdict*
Momotube / Momowatch / Pesatube is a scam. Do not share your BVN, NIN, or deposit any money to "upgrade level". If your money is stuck, stop inviting people and delete the app.
If you want legit alternatives in 2026, focus on platforms with transparent payment proofs like Publish0x, Premise app, or freelancing.
