OKEx is an exchange platform on which you can find a faucet that allows you to earn (Edit: now 250) satoshis per day by watching (or not) 5 explanatory articles for 1mn, followed by an easy captcha.
Reset is at 16h UTC.
(Edit: now this faucet is only available on the OKEx mobile app, you find it clicking on "Rewards" icon.)
This is a higher reward than most faucet sites, and since I like trying new ways to earn crypo, I gave it a try.
Unlike Stormgain which does not allow you to withdraw your mining earnings directly (you can only withdraw earnings from future trading), I discovered that here you can easily withdraw your profits from the faucet.
You should know that the withdrawal of the faucet is done from 10k satoshis and by 10k increments (20k, 30k etc ...)
It is of course not possible to withdraw such small amounts in BTC due to network charges.
My first idea was to convert the winnings to Tron (TRX) as withdrawal fees are usually low, but withdrawal is not possible on external accounts, internal accounts are offered but I don't know them. (update: TRX withdraw now possible to external wallet, fee=1 TRX)
My second idea was to go through the Digibyte (DGB), the withdrawal fees are low (0.2) but the minimum purchase is 100 DGB and I should have waited for the withdrawal of 20k satoshis (100DGB = 14720sat at the current price).
Then I thought of Algorand (ALGO), I have some staked on Coinbase, the minimum purchase here is 1 and the withdrawal fee is 0.002.
Here is the procedure I followed:
1- Withdrawal of 10k satoshis from the faucet:
2- Transfer the 10k sat from the funding account to the trading account:
3- Buy ALGOs on basic trading:
4- Transfer the purchased ALGOs from the trading account to the funding account:
5- Withdraw ALGO from my Coinbase external account:
6- Confirmation of the transfer by Coinbase one minute later:
If you want to try you can use this referral link OKEX or without ref: OKEX
If you don't have a Coinbase account you can also use my referral link or not: Coinbase.
You can earn some crypto there while learning about them.
