Mysterium Network VPN
From the get go, I would like to point out that I run a node but only use whitelist traffic.
Mysterium is a P2P VPN which is still in testnet but will hopefully go live in Q2 of this year. By running a node you become the exit point and get paid for the amount of data used. When Mysterium goes live the node runner will be able to set price and conditions of use, such as allow streaming/torrents and the such. You can cap the amount of bandwidth to 5MB.
I would like to point out, this project is still in beta, so things may/will change.
Requirements:
- Linux, Windows, or macOS operating system.
- Minimum 1GB of RAM
- A decent internet connection.
You can run it on a Raspberry Pi which they provide an image with Mysterium pre-installed, you can get the image from here Mystberry
I chose to run on a Pi, easy to setup and get started. Flash the image to a SDcard and pop it into the Pi. Now you'll need to SSH into the Pi to complete and secure your node, default login details are.
- Username: myst
- Password: mystberry
Once you are logged in via SSH myst@ip-of-your-raspberry you will need to change the default password passwd
Once this is done you are ready to login to the dash board

Remember you changed your password.
Claim your node then you should have something like this

Click on the Node and it will take you to the dash board.

Top right you'll see a button Node Settings and it will take you to this page. Click on Settings enter your Ethereum address in the Airdrop wallet. Enter your e-mail for the Mysterium team to contact you. Below referral code is the place to set white list (Mysterium verified partner traffic) or All traffic which opens you to all (in my opinion a little to risky) save the changes and that's it all done, you can now go back to the dash board and wait for traffic.

There are conditions at present to qualify for payout, so keep an eye on the bounty rules.
Please feel free to leave a comment of a like.
Thank you.
Update:- I have pulled the plug on this project, after a AMA they finally answered our concerns. This project is not safe, whitelist included, this is my opinion and the Dev team doesn't care for your security, they call it a small risk. By running a node you become the exit point, so it's YOUR IP address that is recorded.
