Hey everyone, I hope this post finds you well.

While I've been alternating between the Covid-19 scare and my daily life, getting things in order so to speak, I've neglected the crypto markets. Tezos, my favorite, has suffered a terrible fate along with the rest of the markets, but something bigger is going on here and I'd love to find out what it was.

I was perusing Coinbase Pro earlier, thinking about a way to recoup some of my prior losses, when I noticed that the BTC price had dropped from the $8k range to right above $6k.

Thinking "This can't be right!" I clicked on the graph and watched in awe as the price bounced in the double digit percentage points, right in front of my flabbergasted eyes. It's still doing it, though it seems to have reclaimed some amount of its prior relative stability.

I guess my big question is this: What just happened? Any catastrophes out there, or did someone with deep pockets just decide to pull out of the market?
