If you are new to Publish0x, you will see it asks for a **USDC Optimism address** to get paid. I was confused at first, but I just set it up today using OKX Wallet. Here is how I did it step by step.
**Step 1: Download OKX Wallet**
Go to Play Store and search "OKX Wallet". Download the app. Create a new wallet and save your 12-word seed phrase on paper. Never share it.
**Step 2: Find Your Receiving Address**
1. Open OKX app
2. Go to Web3 at the bottom
3. Click Receive
4. Select USDT (or USDC)
5. You will see "Select network" - Click it
6. Search for "Optimism"
7. You will see your 0x address. Click Copy.
My address looks like this: 0x1b8a...e6e8 - your 0x address is the same for BNB Chain, Ethereum, Base and Optimism. So you can use the same address.
**Step 3: Paste on Publish0x**
1. Go to Publish0x.com
2. Go to Settings > Payment
3. Where it says USDC Optimism Address, paste the address you copied
4. Click Save
That's it! You are now ready to receive payments.
**How to check your money later:**
When Publish0x pays you, go to OKX Web3 > Receive > USDT > Optimism network. You will see your USDC balance there.
**Important Tip:** Don't create two Publish0x accounts with the same wallet. You will get banned. One person, one account.
I am from Cameroon and I use this method. It works perfectly and there are no fees to create the wallet.
