Stricken with chicken pox,
Is like staying in a box.
No one comes near,
Soon as the news they hear.
The whole body is itchy,
Makes me feel bitchy.
Running a high fever,
Pray temperature will lower.
In my family, I’m the first,
To contract this virus,
Putting all at unease,
None wants this disease.
Have to stay in bed,
With mother as my aide,
At least for one week,
As I feel quite weak.
