Flourless Chocolate Cake

This is a great recipe because it requires only a few ingredients and comes together quickly.

The cake can be served either warm or cold. You will need 6 eggs,100g of sugar, 200 g of dark chocolate (at least 60% cocoa content), and 170g of butter. If you're feeling bougie, you can add a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of vanilla extract.

First, separate the egg whites and yolks, then beat the egg whites until stiff. The butter should be at room temperature, and you’ll need to beat it together with the sugar and egg yolks until smooth. Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler.

Once the chocolate has melted and cooled, mix it into the egg yolk mixture. Once you have a smooth mixture, add a spoonful of beaten egg whites and gently fold them in. Then, gradually fold the rest of the beaten egg whites into the mixture using a spatula. This is your final batter for the cake.
Choose a baking pan that fits your needs. If you use a larger pan, you'll need more eggs, and for a smaller pan, fewer eggs. Bake the cake at 190 degres Celsius from 20 - 25 minutes.

Serve it with whipped cream, ice cream, or a homemade fruit sauce for extra flavour!
