I'll be doing a livestream with my friend Seth Hoffman (aka Setherino) this week. Seth and I have been friends for a very long time...maybe since about the year 2001. The fact that I have had friends for 25 years is one of my favorite parts about getting older. Seth has been a full time musician for a long time as well and I will ask him questions about this. We will also play some songs together.
TreeHouse For Charlie
My friend Jenny's son Charlie and I have been building a treehouse. Charlie is homeschooled, so this has been the perfect project for him to learn some building skills. So far he has become quite skilled at using a drill. One of our biggest challenges has been getting my vision of a treehouse lined up with Charlie's vision of a treehouse and Jenny's vision of a treehouse. Ha! As Jenny puts it, we all see a cat, but Charlie sees a lion, I see a tiger and Jenny sees a bobcat. We're starting to all align and feel good about the final product.
I'll be at the Bosque Farms Market this Saturday May 16th from 9am-noon. It's a great little market about 20 miles south of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Jenny's Housewarming Concert
Charlie's mom Jenny and I have been friends for about 20 years. Jenny has been learning how to play the bass for the past few years. She took lessons from both me and Seth. A few months ago she had the good fortune of buying her own home on the east side of the Albuquerque mountains in a town called Tijeras, New Mexico. Jenny and I are so grateful to arrive at a time in our lives when we own our places on the planet.
This Saturday May 16th Jenny is having a housewarming party and is also hosting a house concert for me to play. Please write me a private messge for details on that.
