Robbery Linked to Gold Bars Found in Senator's House

Bob Menendez’s house contained gold bars from a robbery back in 2013. He had stolen them from a businessman accused of accepting bribes. It was said that he'd stolen it in an armed invasion, the serial numbers on the gold bars matched the gold bars stolen from the invasion literally 10 years ago which is just mind baffling. How could a senator knowingly have stolen gold bars and just keep it in his own house? How'd he even become a senator with that level of precaution? How do we know he isn't treating his job as a senator with the same level of carelessness? We don't - and that's alarming. Apart from the fact that he had stolen hundreds of thousands of dollars in gold, he was also dumb enough to get caught with them and also be a senator while doing such a crime.

He had stolen precisely half a million dollars in gold bars which equated to exactly 22 golden bars that were just recovered and returned back to the busienssman he stole them from. This senator had also accepted bribes - these golden bars were hypothesized to be given over to the senator in a bribe that took place relatively recently which just comes to show why you shouldn't accept bribes; these sorts of things are stolen most of the time and given over by criminals to high ranking members of parliament and the government.

This is surprising to everyone involved but again, goes to show that no matter who it is, they could always be just as careless as a criminal that ought themselves to be invincible and untouchable. This is sadly how this situation had unfolded and the good thing is that we now have one less corrupt senator in active employment.

That's all for today, feel free to comment your thoughts down below.
