The Merge seems to be the most certain thing that has never existed. No doubt at all, it will happen, the uncertainy is only about the exact date, which should be roughly around September 15 or a bit later... Therefore, everyone is enthusiastic and waiting for the next bull run. But the market stagnates...

When is the next bull run?

Let's assume that everything goes well with the Merge as expected. Will the crypto market start a new bull run? Nothing is less sure, because now that everyone is almost certain that it will happen as expected (the only discussions are about the potential Proof-of-Work hard forks...), at this stage we can say that The Merge is already priced in. So, in the best case, the Ethereum (ETH) price will continue to stagnate, and if there is any issue, it will dump...

How can you make money now?

First of all, nothing can guarantee that Bitcoin (BTC) and the altcoins, who mostly follow the BTC trend with some variations (e.g., due to the Merge) will continue to stagnate as they currently do. The latest report from Coinshares shows that there have been major outflows for Bitcoin, which is a bad sign. Therefore, some prudence is required. BTC could be volatile enough in the next few weeks, and the altcoin season has lasted too long already. To keep it simple, it means that if BTC drops, altcoins will drop faster, and as some altcoins have outperformed BTC for a few weeks, they will pay it sooner or later...

In summary

In crypto, you just need to be patient. Remember the whales are making money with your impatience. The more you trade, the more you lose. Study carefully the next move you want to make, and stick to it. Forget the 1 minute or 1 hour charts, the 1 day chart is a minimum. And do not forget BTC...
