Ethereum (ETH) - After The Merge, The Dump?

By BFab | Good vibe | 12 Sep 2022

Ethereum merge is quickly approaching. There is even a countdown now on Google.com, which means it has really become completely institutional. Everyone seems to be very enthusiastic about it. The proof-of-stake consensus will be a revolution (as if it had never existed on other blockchains...), it will be much more environmental friendly than this ugly proof-of-work (as if proof-of-work did not offer opportunities to set up carbon free processes...) and all the VCs will jump on Ethereum (which is good news in the case of Ethereum, but bad news in the case of Solana (SOL), which is too much VC'd...).

In summary, everything would be beautiful and marvellous in the best of the worlds for Ethereum, and ETH, becoming deflationary, would pump again...

Ok, but why has ETH pumped recently? Is it the environmental argument, or the VC potential arrivals, or the deflationary calculation?... Or is it not just the potential opportunity for ETH holders to receive ETH POW coins by getting ETH just before The Merge, hoping that a hard fork will then happen...

And if finally it has pumped mostly for this reason, the possibility of getting ETH POW coins, what will happen after The Merge? It will be The Dump...
