Let's face it. You are being snooped. Whether you're online or offline, someone is watching you and trying to use the info to get your attention and profit from it.
This article is written with being snooped in mind, but has thrown in a healthy dose of sarcasm, humour and paranoia to entertain you. Please don't get concerned and jump to conclusions! I've added two levels of snooping that you may be unaware of (just kidding, of course)
CAPTCHA snooping
Generally, CAPTCHAs are tools made to separate humans from bots to avoid cheating. If you're into earning crypto in any way, you probably solve 100s of CAPTCHAs every week. Do you think that these could be snooping on you to share info about you. I had multiple incidences in the last week that made me suspect this.
Incident 1: I rarely make soup. Finally one rainy evening, I decided to make myself one of this cups of instant soup. As I sipped on the hot chicken soup and did some faucets and PTCs, this CAPTCHA popped up!

Incident 2: We were having some yummy pasta for dinner. I didn't think much when I added a little extra sauce to tickle my tastebuds a wee bit more. Were the CAPTCHAs watching? This is the message they sent me later.

Incident 3: And then one day we were making pizza and my son wanted it really cheesy. So we grated a whole lot of garlic cheese and added lovely toppings of bacon, ham and salami. As we waited for it to get ready in the oven, the CAPTCHA world threw me this googly!

Incident 4: One of the sites I've been using a lot is JungleTV. The folks there are a jolly group and they often line up dozens of songs from the 1980s and 1990s on the playlist while chatting merrily. One song that gets played often is Rick Astleys "Never Gonna Give You Up". Lovely little love song with a catchy tune and some slick dance moves it is. The CAPTCHAs enjoyed it too!!

Taliban Snooping
I'm sure you didn't expect that. Before I proceed - this is just sarcastic humour aimed at some funky coincidences and should not be interpreted wrong.
I was scrolling Facebook and, unsurprisingly, there were several posts about the Afghanistan situation. Lots of opinions and emotions and some photos of Taliban Militants figured prominently in my feed. And then.... wham!! This ad for a toy machine gun popped up.

This left me wondering. Were the Taliban snooping on me and asking me to buy a toy gun to get warmed up and recruited? Or was it the usual dumb Facebook algorithms that saw gun pics in my feed and decided that I was interested? Which of the 2 snooping entities is more dangerous??
I'll leave you to be entertained or mortified by my sense of humour. Enjoy the week ahead!!
