Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, announced in a tweet on Wednesday that the electric car company will now accept payments in the form of the cryptocurrency bitcoin, this announcement prompted bitcoin shares to rose as much as 5 percent early Wednesday.

“You can now buy a Tesla with Bitcoin,” Musk tweeted early Wednesday morning.

Even tweeted about if those Bitcoin's will be retained as Bitcoin or not.

And another tweet "Pay by Bitcoin capability available outside US later this year".

Tesla has already updated Bitcoin payment option on  the company's U.S website along with the traditional payment option. Support page on Tesla's website tells us on how its customers can pay using Bitcoin.
